LCD KVM swtich của Raritan có 2 dòng sản phẩm dành cho server room với cấu hình:
- TMCAT1728: nhà quản trị có thể điều khiển 8 server cùng lúc
- TMCAT17216: nhà quản trị có thể điều khiển 16 server cùng lúc
Cả hai dòng sản phẩm trên kết nối đến server bằng cáp UTP. Tùy chọn cho nhà quản trị thứ hai có thể điều khiển server từ bên ngoài server room với khoảng cách lên đến 650 feet (195 mét).
Với LCD KVM switche, nhà quản trị mạng có 2 cách kết nối KVM đến server. Nếu tất cả server đều đặt trong server room, nhà quản trị có thể sử dụng cáp MCUTP của Raritan tích hợp cáp UTP và cổng Video, USB hoặc PS/2. MCCAT provides three brand-new cabling options. MCUTP cable offers server room flexible cabling lengths of 2, 6, 13 and 20 feet between the servers and MCCAT.
MCUTP cable is a brand-new cable for the MCCAT product line. It integrates Raritan’s CIM (Computer Interface Module) and UTP cable for easier cabling management.
MCUTP cables provide PS/2, USB and Sun USB support. Also, Raritan’s Computer Interface Module, with PS/2, USB, Sun and serial support, provides up to 150 feet (45m) between the target server or serial devices and the switch with the current server room’s cabling infrastructure.
These two cabling options assign and retain unique server names for each attached server automatically. They make installation and re-configuration easier.
